This version of the Mizuno Wave Rider 26 has all of the same great features as the Mizuno Wave Rider 26, but swaps out the jacquard mesh fabric upper for a soft, smooth stretch woven version that looks stylish and hugs your foot for a great fit.
The newest version of the Mizuno Wave Rider lives up to its reputation as one of the best running shoes. This reliable workhorse offers more cushion and energy return than ever before. Mizuno added 2 mm of Mizuno’s ENERZY foam for a more propulsive and plush ride. The castor bean, bio-based Wave Plate in the midsole gives you balance, propulsion and efficiency during your run. Plus, the new Wave materials emit 25% less CO2 emissions during production than normal PEBAX.
A connected forefoot outsole design provides for a snappier, more propulsive toe-off, while the X10 heel rubber increases durability.

Perfect for slim feet and high arches.
This Mizuno shoe is perfect for slimFeet and high arches. It’s my 3rd pair. I’ve tried others but the Mizuno wave rider is the best. Very well made very comfortable and offers plenty of support.

Super comfortable and supportive
I love the SSW style of the wave rider because it is not tight in the toe/metatarsal area which prevents my neuroma from hurting. It also gives great support for over pronation.
