- Upper: Engineered mesh upper for structure, support and breathability. There are no-sew overlays for a comfortable fit and feel.
- Midsole: The Fresh Foam X midsole foam provides an incredible comfort underfoot with a firmer foam on the bottom to give it inherent stability. EVA stability technology helps reduce overpronation, perfect for those with flexible arches.
- Outsole: New Balance updated the outsole of the Vongo v6 with vertical flex grooves to give it more stability and provide a better toe-off experience.

What’s New
The New Balance Fresh Foam X Vongo v6 is completely redone to give you the latest in New Balance technology. The foam is a dual layer system, with a softer underfoot feel and a firmer bottom foam to give the shoe some inherent stability. New Balance put more of its soft Fresh Foam X underfoot to give you more cushion, added a rocker shape and changed the heel to toe drop to 6mm to give you a smoother ride.
New Balance gave the shoe guidance and stability by adding a EVA Film stability technology that slows pronation without compromising the cushion. The outsole has vertical flex grooves as opposed to the previous horizontal orientation to give you more stability and forefoot stiffness for better toe-offs. Finally, the new engineered mesh upper has an improved fit and reflective details to keep you visible.

Great shoe but color is off
I’ve been a fan of new balances my whole life. When my husband asked me what I wanted for Xmas I said these. I’ve had brook’s which art too stiff and fell apart before the year was done. I own a pair of Hokas and they wore out kinda quickly and make your feet look ridiculous. I put one of these NB shoes on and had to stop to write a review. They are so comfortable and hug my foot beautifully. They feel cushioned and supported. I can’t wait to start working out in these. I wear a 10.5 D. Only thing is that the Nightsky color looks more purple online but these are absolutely blue.

Helping meet the needs of more than just runners
The young man working with us in store was wonderful. We came to the store because my daughter has severe foot deformity. The young man was patient accommodating and thoughtful. He explained the aspects of her foot scan so that we understood what she needed and he brought out several shoes until we found the one that worked for her. I could not have asked for more.
