Deerfield

Downtown Deerfield, Illinois, holds a rich historical legacy dating back to the 19th century when it was established as a farming community along the Chicago and Milwaukee Railroad. Over time, it transformed into a thriving commercial center, with its historic buildings reflecting the town's growth and evolution. Downtown Deerfield retains its quaint charm today, offering a blend of historic architecture, modern amenities, and a vibrant community atmosphere that attracts visitors and locals alike.

Fleet Feet Deerfield opened its doors in 2016 after a trade with RAM Racing, who formerly owned and operated the retail store ‘Running Away Multisport’ in the same location that Fleet Feet Deerfield lives in today. Fleet Feet handed over its race management division to RAM Racing in turn for acquiring the retail store, and both companies still operate with a great partnership today. 

Parking/Public Transit

Parking is available with a three-hour limit in the municipal parking lot immediately to the store's west. The entrance to the parking lot is via Jewett Park Drive. Jewett Park Drive is north of the store on Waukegan Road (Illinois Route 43) and is between the Deerfield Village Hall and the First Presbyterian Church.

The location is also accessible from the Deerfield stop on the Metra Milwaukee District North Line.
