If weather looks suspect, related announcements will be posted HERE 1 - 2 hour priors to the start of the scheduled practice times. Please check back at 4PM for a 6PM scheduled practice, etc. We will also post on Facebook and when we can, send an email update to your inbox.
Air Quality
Fleet Feet Fox Valley will cancel a group training session if the following dangers are present based on the following chart: https://www.airnow.gov/aqi/
- Anything over 150 (red, purple, and maroon zones) on the government's air quality chart will constitute a cancellation of an event or training program
- If the air quality value index is 101 - 150 (orange zone) we will proceed with a less vigorous effort planned. We STRONGLY recommend that individuals use their personal discretion, particularly when it comes to being a member of a sensitive group.

Winter Policy
Fleet Feet Fox Valley will cancel a group training session if the following dangers are present:
- Extreme cold conditions
- Actual temperature is 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below
- The Windchill temp is -12 degrees Fahrenheit or below
- Thunderstorm - lightning is present
- Any other dangerous weather conditions, such as ice storm, hail, extremely poor visibility, etc.
We will NOT cancel a session if it is simply raining or snowing - you never know what may happen on race day, so let's be prepared for anything!
Summer Policy
Fleet Feet Fox Valley will cancel a group training session if the following dangers are present:
- Extreme heat conditions (heat index in excess of 100-110)
- Thunderstorm - lightning is present
- Thunderstorm or Tornado Warnings & Watches/or high winds
- Any other dangerous weather conditions, such as hail, extremely poor visibility, etc.
We will NOT cancel a session if it is simply raining - you never know what may happen on race day, so let's be prepared for anything!
"Wait and See Policy"
When bad weather is forecasted but not certain (i.e. Summer Afternoon Thunderstorms, etc.) we will post a "Wait and See" status. Please understand that we invite you to attend practices under the "Wait and See" but we will potentially cancel on site if weather makes it necessary.

Program Fee: ex: $100 excluding race fee
