
Endurance 5k/10k Program Fall 2025
We want you to join our 5k Endurance/10k Fall 2025 Program! Whether you are a first-timer or a returning part of the Fleet Feet family, a distance runner, or just looking for some group camaraderie we have a great program for you! The Fall 2025 program will consist of a 10-week program that leads up to the Spinx Run Fest.
5k Endurance
Our 5K Endurance program is for experienced runners who have made the transition from completing to competing and who have been following a structured training program for at least one year. Training initiatives include stride efficiency, 5K specific "fast-twitch" endurance, aerobic endurance, versatile race pace efficiency, and post-run recovery and injury prevention.

10k Endurance
The 10K Endurance program is designed for the currently-casual athlete who is ready to take their training to the next level. We'll delve a little deeper into the subjects that will help you go beyond the 5K: speed training, nutrition management, hydration, safety & visibility, and more. Throughout the 10-week program, you'll gradually increase your mileage as you train mentally and physically for the 6.2- mile distance.

Important Information:
- Informational Meeting: Sunday, August 17 starting at 3:45pm until 4:20pm
- First Practice: August 19th at 6pm
- Goal Race: Spinx Run Fest 5k/10k: October 25th 2025 (Registration for race is not included in training program cost)
- Workout Days: Tuesdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 8am
- Cost: Early Bird rate of $90, price increase to $100 after August 3rd (Right at $5 per practice!)
- Optional Add On: You can upgrade your polyblend group shirt to a technical shirt for an extra $12 at checkout.

Our Group Training Schedule:
- Tuesdays at 6:00 pm. Location will vary. Workout Varies (Hill repeats, track work, etc)
- Saturdays at 8 am - Location will vary. Long Run. Multiple mileage options each week, as mileage will vary depending on time of season and goal race!
Jerry McCall has been running for over 10 years and started running right here with the Fleet Feet No Boundaries training group. During that time, he has completed 3 road half marathons, 1 trail half marathons, and many other races of various distances. He enjoys inspiring and motivating others on their running journey while sharing his gained knowledge of running. Jerry is a registered nurse with over 26 years of experience and lives in downtown Greenville with his husband Doug (yes, that Doug) and their two Devon Rex cats.
