I ran my first marathon in 1995 almost 30 years ago.  I started coaching in 1997 as an athlete working as the Office Manager for the Houston Marathon. I have also race directed every distance from 5K to 50K.

Through Fleet Feet we have been fortunate to coach thousands over the last 20 years.  Our goal to be beside you and guide you through all aspects of your training.

Our mentors are dedicated to helping you not only during your runs but throughout the entire training process.

Paul has been running and coaching running since the early seventies (1970’s) - running races of all distances from the half-mile (my favorite) to marathons. 

He loves every minute of it! All distances have their unique set of challenges and also common bonds. 

There is a bottom line… the best way to become a better runner is to RUN and to train smartly! Our training team will help you to do both!

I’d like to share a lifetime with the Joy of Running and use modern & proven training techniques to help you reach your Runner’s High!

He's been formally coaching adult fitness since 2013. I am a certified running coach through the Road Runners Club of America.  I’m also a certified Spinning Instructor through Mad Dogg Athletics. I am a retired engineer and had my formal engineering education at Columbia University in New York. I tend to apply a lot of my engineering experience to coaching.  I like taking something proven and making it better!  Training techniques are constantly improving, and we will apply new developments to our training program.

Everyone is different! Our training program will be adjusted to help you achieve your best! Whether you are trying to get to the finish line or working toward a recent Personal Record, we would like the opportunity to have you join our training team and help you to your next level!

I have been running since high school (I couldn't make the soccer team).

 

I have an RRCA Level 1 certification.

 

It ended with a DNF, but the Lighthouse 100 with Ryan is still one of my favorite race experiences. We got to run along Lake Michigan and see the sunset and the sunrise. We got sunburned during the day and had temperatures in the 40s that night. We were unprepared for the rain in the early morning and dealt with stomach cramps and blisters. Our parents had a great time crewing for us. I'd like to go back and finish the race someday!

 

Fall goal: Maybe the Grand Slam? Maybe a marathon? We'll see. :)

 

 

Brent Seaman - Rock Runners Coach

 

Meet Brent Brent Seamon.

I started my running journey in a Couch to 5k program back in 2018 or 2019. Ran my first 5k in 2019 and was hooked. Started training with Fleet Feet programs and it significantly improved my fitness and love for the sport and community. I have a marathon I'm training for this year and other trail races in my sights as well. I found trails in 2021 and was in love. I have run a bunch of trail races with 25k being my farthest distance with longer ultras in my future. I'm excited to coach this program and help others find their love of trails, nature, and the fun that can be had running in the woods.
