10K & 4 Miler Training

This is a beginner/intermediate training program for runners that want to achieve the goal of finishing a 10k &/or 4 miler.
We'll meet as a group on Thursday evenings to complete various speed workouts, and on Saturday mornings for long runs. You'll benefit from having the support of a large group of participants, mentors, and coaches on every group run. You'll also learn how to properly fuel for your race, avoid common running mistakes, supplement your running with strength work and cross training, and much, much more!
Goal Races:
Our goal races are the Cooper River Bridge Run 10k and the Tar Heel 4 miler, but you are welcome to train for any other race during this time.

Sub 11 minute/mile
11-12 minute /mile
12-13 minute / mile

Shcedule:
February 13th - April 19th
Thursday workouts will be held at Fleet Feet Raleigh (Wade Ave.) at 6pm.
Saturday workouts will begin at 8:00am at various locations in the area.
Cost: $110. Does not include the Cooper River Bridge Run 10k and the Tar Heel 4 miler race registration.
