Daylight Savings Time took place this past weekend and your warm weather exercise clothing can be moved to that lower drawer in your closet, not to be seen until spring...unless you head someplace warm this winter.
More and more people are getting outside in the colder Central New York months and changing the clothes they wear to meet the conditions. The odd thing is that we all watch the weather forecast and temperature with the intent to determine what we should wear. We have different hats, gloves, scarves, tops, jackets, pants and socks to meet the day. With all of that, the one piece of equipment we often ignore is the one that has direct contact with the elements...our shoes. Not sure about you, but when my feet are cold, there is not much right with the world for me.
Lucky for all of us, Fleet Feet Sports has some great options for the winter. “I am most excited about our selection of footwear with the Artic Ice Grip+ including the Saucony Peregrine Ice+, Saucony Razor Ice+, and the Merrell Men's Overlook & Women's Aurora Ice+," said Fleet Feet Sports Footwear Manager, Tana Pusey. “These are three very different offerings, but all are waterproof with that cool, new technology on the outsole giving durable, extreme traction on wet ice and slippery winter surfaces. Whether you want to safely run or walk through wintery conditions, we have awesome options.”
Bottom line...we have selections from Brooks, Saucony, Altra and Merrell that could be just the ticket for keeping your feet warm and dry and will also help avoid nasty spills.
Stop by and see us in DeWitt or Clay and give these great new cold weather models a look-see.
