Pronounced “sock-a-knee,” Saucony was formed in 1898. With over a century of running, they have evolved from a local factory to a global brand in the suburbs of Boston, inspiring good runs worldwide. Their logo is inspired by the Saucony Creek in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, where the brand began and the water flowed around three distinct boulders. Today, they stand for the guiding boulders of the brand: good performance, good health and good community.
Saucony continues to give runners ways to challenge themselves with boundary-pushing productions that help them run faster, easier. They advocate for runners of every level with our efforts towards building a greater good in the running community and beyond.
