Fleet Feet Donates to Run For Food

Chico's largest running and walking event, the Run for Food, takes place on Thanksgiving morning in Bidwell Park. It is anticipated that over 4,000 people will take part this year in the 7th annual edition of the event. Fleet Feet is proud to sponsor the event and will be hosting packet pickup for two days, November 20th and 21st, between 10am and 6pm.

To help raise more funds for the Jesus Center (the beneficiary of Run For Food) Fleet Feet will be donating $10 for every pair of shoes that they sell during the two days of packet pickup. Said Alan Rice, Co-owner of Fleet Feet,"If you are an existing customer ready for a new pair, or someone that we have never fitted before, this would be a great time to make a purchase. We did the same fund raiser last year, and we would love to beat that total this time."
