Registration Opens for New Half Marathon Training Programs

Fleet Feet Sports is pleased to announce that registration is now open for their two Spring 2013 Half Marathon Training Programs. Both programs start on January 2nd, 2013 with one targeting the Bidwell Classic Half Marathon and the other targeting the Blue Diamond Almonds Shamrock'n Half Marathon. The Bidwell Classic Half Marathon takes place in Chico on March 2nd and the Blue Diamond Almonds Shamrock'n Half Marathon takes place in Sacramento on March 17th.

"These Spring half marathon programs are amongst the most popular ones we put on. They are usually a sell out", said Susan Zepernick, Co-owner of Fleet Feet. Adding to the importance of signing up early is the fact that the Shamrock'n program is capped at just 65 participants. "These programs are perfect for people that are comfortable with running maybe a 10K and now want to step up to a bigger challenge," said Tina Mickelson, Fleet Feet's Training Program Co-ordinator.
