With Fleet Feet?s Training Program Powered by On, you?ll follow a holistic training plan designed to help you build the habits, mindset and fitness you need to cross the finish line feeling strong and empowered. Our 12-week half marathon program is for intermediate runners and run/walkers who want to run their first half marathon, improve on their last race, or segue into longer distances. Our experienced RRCA certified running coaches and mentors will help prepare you for race day with a program that is designed to build endurance, strength, and speed. We provide a detailed training plan geared to your goals, an opportunity to learn new tips and techniques, information on pacing, race strategy, and a supportive community.
Training for a half marathon isn't just about logging miles. It?s about facing challenges, tackling different types of runs, building strength and making space for rest and recovery.
With our program, you?ll connect with other runners, grow together and benefit from expert Fleet Feet running coaches every step of the way.
We offer several pace group options from a sub-9 minute pace to a 15 minute pace. Our goal race is the Huntersville Half Marathon or any other December half marathon that you would like to train for!
To ensure you get the most benefit of this program, our recommendation is to be currently running or run/walking 2 - 3 times/week with a minimum long run distance of 6 miles.
