Have you ever wondered if you could conquer the Robie Creek Half Marathon? At Fleet Feet Treasure Valley, we are here to tell you that if you can walk/hike for 45 consecutive minutes, you absolutely CAN complete Robie by joining this Training Program!
Our 12 Week Robie Creek Training Program is led by Coach A.K., a Robie Creek Expert and Age Group Award Winner, and Assistant Coach Amy- a running and Robie Creek enthusiast. We are passionate about this race, knowledgeable about the course, and EXCITED to help others cross the finish line at Robie Creek. Whether you plan to run, run/walk interval, hike, or ruck the course this Training Program is for you.
The unique programming approach is time-based, not distance based- allowing for ANY fitness level to participate and successfully complete the race in April. This also means that the entire group will always start AND finish together, although the distance completed each week will vary participant to participant.

- STARTS: January 27th, 2025
- DURATION: 12 weeks
- ENDS: Saturday, April 19th with the half marathon race!
DETAILS
- PRICE: $175 until December 31st ($185 from Jan. 1 - Program Start)
- DISTANCE: Half Marathon
- EXPERIENCE LEVEL: There will be several training plans for athletes of all levels
- Beginners (If you can walk 35 minutes, you will be able to complete the race by the end of the program!)
- Intermediate (Athletes that have ran 10Ks and Half Marathons before, but maybe not uphill)
- Advanced (Athletes that are looking to improve their personal best at the race)
WORKOUT SCHEDULE & PROGRAM BENEFITS
- 12 week training program
- 4 in-person weekly coached training sessions (NOTE: You are not expected to join us at every session. We have multiple oportunities per week to join so that we can accomodate most schedules. The goal should be to meet the group 1-2 times per week and do the rest of the training on your own.)
- Meetup Schedule:
- Tuesdays at 2:00pm (Boise, ID)
- Wednesdays at the gym or a track at 6:00 pm
- Saturdays at 8:00 am (Boise, ID)
- Sundays at 8:00 am (Boise, ID)

MEET YOUR COACHES
A.K Whittaker (EMAIL) - Head Coach
A.K. Whittaker is a mom and athlete, passionate about her family, fitness, and especially running! She now has 15 years of experience in the fitness industry that began with a part time job at her local YMCA as a group fitness instructor. Within a year that part time job grew into an passionate full time career as a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach. In her running career, A.K. has completed more than 10 Full Marathons, more Half Marathons than she can count, two IRONMAN 70.3’s, and literally hundreds of 5 and 10Ks. By 2020, Racing almost every weekend had become a lifestyle for A.K.
However, A.K. Whittaker is no stranger to adversity. In 2018 while running a marathon in Washington , A.K. was hit with a life threatening medical condition that landed her in the hospital for 13 days with a long recovery in front of her. As she finally was able to begin her running career again after several months of physical therapy- she was nominated for a Humans of HOKA award which she received in January 2020. A.K. believes in redemption, second chances, and working hard to achieve your dreams. Most importantly A.K. has lived the magic of what movement can do for your soul, whether it is walking, jogging, or running.
The credentials that A.K. Whittaker brings to the table as our Running Coach are numerous but she titles her name with: Run Coach, Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, Rossiter, and USA Weightlifting Level Two Coach.
A.K. Whittaker’s biggest running dream is to complete all six Abbots World Marathons. With three under her belt, Boston in 2018, NYC in 2019 and Chicago in 2023, she is working towards London in 2025 for Abbots Marathon number four!
Amy Rogalsky - Assistant Coach
Amy has worked in the fitness industry for over a decade. As a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor she found her passion in helping others find their own journey to health. Amy was inspired to start running for health reasons, and also after watching her husband complete the Race To Robie Creek. Something about seeing that challenge sparked a flame inside of her, and she wanted to get better at it. She started running over 7 years ago and has not stopped running since! Amy has completed countless 5k’s and multiple half marathons, with a goal to complete her first marathon on the horizon. Her favorite place on earth is the Boise Greenbelt, whether it’s running, walking or biking! She is the wife to a rock star man of 14 years and the mother to 4 beautiful children. When she’s not running she’s learning, lifting, or spending time with her family. She loves the outdoors more than anything else and prefers heat over snow! She also loves to cook and bake, sharing the spoils with others.
