Whether it’s your first time running, or your first in a long time, or you are looking to run a new personal best, Fleet Feet Treasure Valley has a training program that will get you to the finish line STRONGER, FASTER and INJURY FREE!
This running group will train for the goal race, Treasure Valley Rescue Run 5K/10K on Saturday, June 7th!

DATES
- STARTS: March 31st, 2025
- DURATION: 10 weeks
- ENDS: Saturday, June 7th at the 3rd Annual Treasure Valley Rescue Run!
DETAILS
- PRICE: $85-$100 (a $380 VALUE!!)
- DISTANCE: 5K, 10K
- EXPERIENCE LEVEL:There will be several training plans for athletes of all levels
- Beginners (New 5K or 10K runners)
- Intermediate (Athletes that have ran 5Ks and 10Ks before)
- Advanced (Athletes that are looking to improve their personal best in the 5K or 10K)
WORKOUT SCHEDULE & PROGRAM BENEFITS
- 10 week training program built around your goals and skillset.
- 2 in-person weekly coached training sessions (NOTE: You are not required to join us at every session. Coach A.K. is happy to work with your schedule to build a training plan! Email ak@fleetfeetmeridian.com with any scheduling questions!)
- General Training Schedule:

Sundays: Coach A.K. will send out an email with all the information you will need for each training week including the locations of meetups, workout focuses, and any special events.

Wednesdays: (A/B schedule) -
- Week A: Strength and Conditioning Workout for Runners 6pm at Guardian Physique
- Week B: Track Workouts (Speed, RunSkills, Pacing, etc) at various High School Tracks (alternation between Boise and Nampa locations)

Thursdays: Resistance Band + Mobility Exercise Video

Saturdays: Group Run/Walk at Various Treasure Valley Locations at 8:30 AM

EBONY THOMAS - ASSISTANT COACH
Meet Ebony, our assistant coach for the spring 5k/10k Big Run Program. She is all about bringing the joy back to running. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just trying to figure out how to run your first mile, she's got your back (and your stride). She's here to pump up your motivation and make those miles fly by.
Ebony's been a mentor with us for the past two years, for both our fall and spring training programs. She’s got a passion for making everyone feel welcome, no matter their pace. Plus she is a big fan of our sponsor Brooks. Her go-to? The Glycerin 21s.
With over 15 years as a personal trainer and 5 years as a running coach, Ebony's got the chops to get you to your goals. She's helped folks tackle everything from that first daunting mile to qualifying for Boston. Yes, Boston! And this year she helped athletes complete the world marathon challenge (7 marathons, on 7 continents in 7 days!).
Moving to Boise two years ago, she found her community with our Fleet Feet program. "It was the first community I was a part of here, so it holds a near and dear place in my heart," she says.
Ebony holds a Master's degree in kinesiology and is certified as an NASM personal trainer, an ACE health coach and personal trainer, and holds multiple nutrition certifications for endurance athletes, not to mention her VDOT coaching certification.
But more than anything, Ebony believes in the power of running to transform lives. She’s all about creating a supportive, fun, and inclusive environment where everyone feels like they belong. So, whether you're aiming for a personal best or just looking to enjoy the scenery, Ebony says, "join us and let's run there!"
