Fall HIT/MIT

Fall Marathon and Half Marathon Training Begins Soon! 

We call it HIT (Halfer in Training) and MIT (Marathoner in Training), but whatever you call it we have been at if for a LONG TIME and have helped thousands of Tulsa area runners and walkers reach the finish line!

The program will begin on July 29, 2024 and run through the Williams Route 66 Marathon on November 24, 2024.  Planning on a different fall marathon like Chicago, Marine Corp or NYC? We got you covered!  We will have schedules and advice for those of you who might doing a goal race that is not on the Route 66 weekend.  Perks include dedicated coaches and pace groups, pre-defined and designed routes with on-course aid stations and support, a tech shirt, AND every participant receives a special gear up discount offer than can cover most of the cost of the program depending on purchases.  

Why Join? Our program is the oldest in the area and by far the largest.  We were the first to offer organized pace group centered endurance training in the Tulsa market and our programs remain the best! We have been at this since 2004, offering both a spring and fall version and occasionally a summer intersession to keep people in shape.  We offer a huge range of paces in ORGANIZED PACE GROUPS - from fast runners to interval training to walking.  We cover ALL abilities equally!  Everyone is welcome!  We have very experienced Coaches, many of who have been leading our groups for over a decade.  They know the ropes and have vast experience in running/walking half and full marathons and in leading groups of runners and walkers.  OUR GROUPS START TOGETHER AND FINISH TOGETHER AND THEIR DEDICATED COACH IS THERE FOR YOU FROM BEGINNING TO END OF EVERY WORKOUT!    

The program meets four times a week at a Fleet Feet Tulsa area location, and also uses our long running track program at TU for a speed element once a week for those who want to get faster.  We also offer a SATURDAY ONLY version of the program if the weeknight workouts don't fit your schedule or you are a morning runner/walker.

Most of all THIS PROGRAM IS FUN and you will make lifetime friends through the training journey. Many of our original program participants from way back in the early 2000's still meet up to run (albeit slower) and for sure socialize. If you want to get plugged into a great and welcoming group, this is it!  

If you are not up for a half or full, we have two other great options: Our 5k program NO BOUNDARIES and our 10k (15k in the fall) program PATHWAYS.
