Couch to 5k - No Boundaries Training
No Boundaries is a coached and organized group 5k training program designed for those beginning a fitness program or restarting after a layoff. All pace groups feature run/walk intervals or all walking, led by qualified and experienced coaches. Our Couch to 5k/Learn to Run program is a new time based program, meaning that you will run and walk at your given pace and just turn around when the clock hits the halfway point! No more dreaded 1 mile runs or walks! The key to success in this program is walking with a purpose. We are using interval training and the concept of active recovery to ensure that you are gaining strength and increasing your fitness even while walking. Day 1 is 4.5 minutes walking (with a purpose) and 30 seconds running x 4, for a total of 20 minutes. With over 15 years of experience in offering an organized and coached 5K running and walking program; Our continued success of our graduates is proof that our programs are effective at getting you to your goal - and creates lifelong friends along the way!
Pathways 10K Training
Pathways is an 8 - 10 week coached intermediate running and walking program that is proven to help you build your endurance. Pathways prepares you to run or walk a 10K in an effective and safe manner. This program is designed to provide a solid foundation for running or walking longer distances so it is the perfect program for those who eventually want to train for a half marathon or marathon. Pathways offers pace groups for various abilities with support, motivation and encouragement from experienced certified coaches.
Halfer In Training and Marathoner In Training
Our half marathon and marathon program is a distance training program for runners and walkers. This program will prepare you to run or walk a half marathon or marathon in 15-18 weeks in an effective and safe manner. Our half marathon and marathon program offers a wide range of pace groups for various abilities. To be successful in our half marathon training, you must be able to run or walk 4-6 miles without struggling when the program begins. To be successful in our marathon training, you must be able to run or walk 6-8 miles without struggling when the program begins. For walkers: we require that you be able to maintain a minimum 18 minute mile pace without struggling and have completed a recent 10km or similar distance event to participate in the half marathon or marathon walking program.
