Mayfest is excited to partner with The Outsiders House Museum in collaboration with Fleet Feet Tulsa for a special event celebrating Tulsa’s rich literary and cinematic history. Join us for a 5K and Fun Run on Saturday, May 10, 2025, starting at 8 a.m., with proceeds supporting the preservation of the iconic Tulsa landmark.

8:00 AM - 5K | 9:10 AM - Fun Run

 The 5k course is a great tour of downtown Tulsa, passing some of the most iconic street murals and music and arts venues in the city.  A special treat for our 5k participants is a special “lap” around the ONEOK Field concourse!  On your way to the finish line, you will pass through several downtown Tulsa districts including beginning and ending in the Arts District, home of the Mayfest Festival,  the Deco District, the Blue Dome District, Greenwood, OSU Tulsa and finally ending on North Main Street near the legendary Cains Ballroom. 

All participants will receive a great Mayfest inspired shirt, finisher medal, and post-race food and beverages.

Located in Tulsa, The Outsiders House Museum preserves the home and memorabilia featured in The Outsiders, the 1983 film adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s classic novel. Restored to its original on-screen appearance, the museum offers a unique glimpse into the making of the film and its cultural impact.
