Let's hit the Trails with the Fleet Feet Carrboro & Durham's Fall 2025 Trail Running Program - Into The Woods! Whether you are a seasoned trail runner looking for a new challenge or have never set foot on a trail, join us for 8 weeks of exploring some of our favorite local running trails. For our fall season we'll be focusing on Trail Training Techniques as well as building our endurance. This group will meet once a week on Sunday mornings at 8 am at different trail heads to get you ready to tackle the Rootrock Trail Runs on October 18th. You will have the option of a 5K, 10K or Half Marathon distance.
Program Details:
- Information Session & Gear Up Night: August 28th at Fleet Feet Durham Southpoint. RSVP Here.
- Program Starts: August 31st, Carolina North Forest
- Program Ends: October 18th, 2025 with the Rootrock Trail Runs
- We'll explore local trails at Carolina North Forest, Eno River State Park, Umstead State Park, Wilson Park, Briar Chapel, and more
- Runs are every Sundays at 8 am. These will be held at various trails around the triangle that will help expand your knowledge and comfort level of running in the area
- We'll have options for beginners and more seasoned trail runners, and we have a hiking group. Your training plan can help accommodate any race distance (5K, 10K or Half Marathon) you're interested in.
- This is a very beginner friendly trail season! For any questions or concerns about your eligibility please email nora.ayers@fleetfeet.com.
Cost: $100 and we will share a discount code to register for the race!
