Move for Mobility: A 5K That Goes Far Beyond the Finish Line
On Friday, April 11th, we’re teaming up with Idaho State University’s Occupational Therapy Program to host Move for Mobility – a free, accessible 5K run/walk/mozie starting at Payette Brewing (733 S Pioneer Street, Boise ID) in downtown Boise.
All paces of runners and walkers are welcome, including adaptive athletes and wheelchair users.
We’re part of a larger global effort to support Free Wheelchair Mission, a nonprofit working to provide off-road wheelchairs to people living with disabilities in developing countries. Their mission? To distribute 3 million wheelchairs by 2035. Our local goal? To raise $9,600 to fund 100 wheelchairs.
Here’s how to join us:
- Sign up by April 2nd at this link to get a free t-shirt.
- Encourage your friends, coworkers, or family to join the team.
- Can’t make it but still want to help? Donate here
Unable to Donate? That's okay! We'd still love for you to join us!
