Local communities are at the heart of Fleet Feet and everything we work to achieve. Through our new national charitable arm, Do the Run Thing, we want to build on the good work that happens every day at our 180 (and counting) locally owned and operated locations. 

Ways to Give Back 

In Madison and Sun Prairie we partner with numerous local organizations such as Girls on the Run, Madison School & Community Recreation, Tri 4 Schools and the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County that align with our franchise-wide focus on youth and under-served communities.  

During the holiday season this year we are excited to turn our focus towards fundraising efforts for the new McKenzie Family Boys & Girls Club in Sun Prairie.  The club is set to open in 2020 and will serve kids of all ages in Sun Prairie. 

Fleet Feet Madison and Sun Prairie have been involved with the Boys & Girls Club through the Shamrock Shuffle for over 15 years and Matt has served on the club's board for the last two. The mission and success of the club in providing opportunities for kids is remarkable and we are excited to see these opportunities being extended to Sun Prairie.

 Highlight the Holidays 

Pick up a "Do the Run Thing" ornament for $10 to commemorate your commitment to running and your community. The premium metal ornament hangs beautifully from a mantel, rearview mirrr, a tree or a medal rack, and it serves as a constant reminder that running changes everything. 

Ornaments are available for purchase at Fleet Feet Madison & Sun Prairie, while supplies last. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Club. 

Also, on Saturday, December 7th, we will donate and addtional 5% of our stores' sales to the new club. 

Several other stores and restaurants in the Prairie Lakes Shopping Center, such as Tipsy Cow, will also be donating a portion of their sales to the Club that day, so visit us and check out our neighbors too!
