Learn how to build a fitness-oriented lifestyle through walking and run/walking. Our inclusive approach welcomes walkers, runners, and everyone in between. Through gradual, achievable progressions and coach-led guidance, No Boundaries helps you build confidence, endurance, and a lifelong love of movement.
No Boundaries 5K: Perfect for beginners and those looking to reintroduce movement into their routine.
Learn to run, run/walk, or walk your way to completing a 5K. Training plans focus on gradual, weekly increases in time spent moving, helping you build endurance safely and confidently.
No Boundaries 10K: Take the next step! Designed for those who have completed a 5K and are ready to keep progressing. Whether you prefer to run continuously or follow a run/walk strategy, this program builds your foundation with gradual increases in time/distance and intensity. Ideal for those ready to stretch their endurance in a supportive and motivating environment.
IMPORTANT PROGRAM DATES
- Program Duration: Sept. 6, 2025 – Nov. 9, 2025
- Meet & Greet Kick-Off: Saturday, Sept. 6 @ 9:00 a.m. | Fleet Feet Madison
- First Group Run: Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025 @ 6:00 p.m.
- Registration Deadline: Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025
GOAL RACE*
- 5K: Girls on the Run 5K | November 8, 2025
- 10K: Madison Marathon 10K | November 9, 2025
*Race entry is not included in the training program registration. Participants are welcome to choose another 5K or 10K.
TRAINING PROGRAM RATES
- Early Bird Registration: $105 (through Aug. 1, 2025)
- Regular Registration: $115 (Aug. 2 – Sept. 3, 2025)
- Late Registration: $125 (Sept. 4, 2025 and after)
MEET AND GREET PROGRAM KICK-OFF
Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025 @ 9:00 a.m. | Fleet Feet Madison (8440 Old Sauk Rd.)
This meeting will primarily be informational and is an excellent opportunity to introduce you to the coaches and answer questions. Plan for approximately 30-45 minutes of discussion. We will cover safety concerns and requirements, training plans and program details, group run protocol, the best gear for a successful training session, and discuss how we can help meet your needs this season.
We will complete a short 20-minute walk following the kick-off to get to know each other better.
GROUP RUNS/WALKS
- Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.: Wednesdays we will meet at the Fleet Feet stores (Fleet Feet Madison: 8440 Old Sauk Rd. or Fleet Feet Sun Prairie: 2816 Prairie Lakes Dr.). Your choice of location!
- Saturdays at 8:00 a.m.: Saturdays will rotate between Orchid Heights Park (3960 Valley Ridge Rd., Middleton), Vilas Park Shelter (1602 Vilas Park Dr., Madison), McDaniel Park (4806 McDaniel Ln., McFarland), Sunfish Pond (Upper Yahara Trail - 4590 Windsor Rd, Deforest), and the two Madison-area Fleet Feet stores.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
- A complete 10-week training program for walkers, run/walkers, and runners. Programming options are based on goals and experience. Flexible training plans and coach support help you stay on track at your own pace.

- Educational and interactive seminar series to supplement your training (e.g. good form running, injury prevention, foam rolling techniques, and strength)

NOTES/RECOMMENDATIONS
- No prior running or exercise experience is needed. This program is designed for true beginners and those getting back into movement. Before starting any new fitness program, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider.
- All paces and ability levels are welcome! Whether you walk, run/walk, or run, our program is inclusive and supportive. You are never “too slow,” and you will not be left behind. Our goal is to meet you where you are and help you move forward - together.
