Spring 5K Training Program
Program Start: February 11, 2025
Program Schedule: Tuesdays @ 6:15pm and Saturdays @ 7:30am
Program Fee: $100 excluding race signup fee
Description: Our 5k program will focus on beginners and those returning from injury or an extended break, but all levels of experience are welcome. This program is designed to help you cross the finish line in 10 weeks while providing you with motivation to keep moving, guidance and advice, and educational clinics on topics such as choosing the right gear and injury prevention. Weekly group workouts are led by a coach and mentor who will take you through a warmup, guide you along the route, and provide a post-workout cool down. There will be different pace groups of run-walk intervals, walking, and running dependent on participation.
This program is also a great opportunity to help you seque into future training programs and longer distances.
